Shoe Sunday

Sunday is usually a day to relax, and what better way to do it than look at beautiful shoes? The shoes i choose today are from the Nicholas Kirkwood pre-fall 2012 collection. The shoes are very particular, but i choose them because they put me in carvival mode (here in Italy it's carnival time :) ), since the detail at the front makes me think of a masquerade mask!
So even if you're not going to a carnival ball, why don't be in the festive mood dressing up your shoes?

La domenica è un giorno solitamente dedicato al relax, e quale modo migliore di rilassarsi che scoprire scarpe nuove! . Le scarpe che ho scelto oggi fanno parte della collezione pre autunno 2012 di Nicholas Kirkwood. Queste scarpe sono molt particolari, e mi piacciono perchè sono perfette per questo periodo carnevalesco, il dettaglio in punta sembra una mascherina, quindi anche se non avete in programma di andare  ad una festa in maschera perchè non entrare nello spirito del carnevale vestendo a festa le vostre scarpe?

Dresses on the runway can really draw my attention, but we cannot wear runway looks without looking too sophisticated for our everyday life, unless you're Anna Dello Russo! So i usually have to find a way to bring togheter the runway and the real life. I find that a great way to do this is wear statement tights: they will add that special fashion feeling to your everyday outfit, making you feel a little closer to the runway.Take a look at these:

I vestiti che sfilano sulle passerelle riescono sempre ad attirare la mia attenzione, ma non possiamo indossare i look delle sfilate senza sembrare troppo sofisticate nella vta di tutti i giorni, a meno che tu non sia Anna Dello Russo!! Quindi solitamente devo trovare un modo per combinare lo stile delle passerelle e la vita reale e credo che un bel modo per farlo sia indossare delle calze particolari che aggiungeranno quel dettaglio fashion al tuo outfit, facendoti sentire più vicina alle passerelle. These days has snowed really heavili where i live.I don't know about you, but snow really puts me in the fashion winter mode and all i want to wear is something that celebrates the purity of the snow, the transparent of the ice, and really keeps me warm. I've always loved heavily knitted sweater and when the snow comes, it seems impossible not to wear one:

In questi giorni ha nevicato molto nella mia città. Non so voi, ma la neve mi fa calare totalmente nella modalità moda invernale e ho voglia di indossare qualcosa che celebri la purezza della neve, il ghiaccio, e chi mi tenga al caldo. These days I'm not buzzing about Valentine's, but  the new spring shoes i CANNOT wait to have!!!  While some of the jaw-drapping shoes we saw on the runway may remain just a dream,there are a lot of high street alternatives for the fashionistas too. Flowers are blooming on the heels, making them the perfect pop-out item of you outfit. Phyton snakeskin is back and ready to go fluorescent for an aggressive yet playful allure. But if colour blocking it's not your thing you can go with mild colours or perspex heels and wedges.

In questi giorni non sono in fibrillazione  per  San Valentino, ma esprimo tutto il mio amore per le scarpe della collezione primavera estate che non vedo l'ora di avere! Anche se le meravigliose scarpe che abbiamo ammirato sulle passerelle potrebbero rimanere solo un bel sogno, ci sono sempre delle opzioni low cost per le fashionistas che non vogliono rinunciare allo stile on trend. I fiori sbocciano sulle scarpe , rendendole le perfette protagoniste della vostra mise. La pelle di pitone è tornata e pronta a colorarsi di tinte fluorescenti, per un'allure aggressiva ma allo stesso tempo scanzonata. Ma se il colour blocking non fa per voi, potete scegliere le alternative in tinte tenui, oppure puntare su tacchi e zeppe di plexliglass
